Real Madrid star Vinícius Jr. last night took to social media, to send a message to club legend Cristiano Ronaldo.

This comes, for those who may have missed it, after Ronaldo continued to etch his name ever further into the history books of world football.

Afforded a start in Portugal’s Nations League showdown with Croatia on Thursday, the Al-Nassr frontman notched what proved to be a decisive 2nd of the night for his side.

And, in the process, Ronaldo secured fresh history.

As confirmed by a host of sources, his latest strike represented the veteran striker’s 900th goal at the professional level of the game.

Messages of congratulations, in turn, took little time in pouring in for Ronaldo, whose emotions were evident after hitting the latest staggering milestone in one of the greatest careers football has ever seen.

And, as alluded to above, adding his name to this list of well-wishes on Thursday night was Vinícius Jr.

Taking to the comments section of Ronaldo’s latest Instagram post, the Real Madrid wide-man made clear his opinion of the Blancos icon, with the simplest of replies – a goat emoji.
