Real Madrid star Raúl Asencio formally prosecuted for distributing sexual videos of a minor | OneFootball

Real Madrid star Raúl Asencio has on Wednesday been formally prosecuted by the Investigating Court number 3 of San Bartolomé de Tirajana.

That’s according to Marca, amongst other outlets, who have this evening provided the details of the situation.

Asencio has for his part been under investigation in a criminal setting for some time now.

This comes after the 22-year-old, as well as former youth teammates Andrés García, Ferrán Ruiz and Juan Rodríguez, were accused of recording and distributing sexual videos of two women, including a minor.

And as per Marca:

‘According to a report issued Wednesday afternoon by the Canary Islands High Court, the judge in charge of the case has issued an order ending the investigation and formalizing the criminal proceedings against the four suspects.’

The following crimes have been cited by the instructor of the case:

‘Discovery of secrets without consent and violation of privacy (article 197.1 of the Penal Code), distribution and sending of videos to third parties without warning or consent to the injured parties (article 197.3) and recruitment or use of minors for pornographic purposes and possession of child pornography (article 189, 1 and 5 of the Penal Code).’

Asencio is currently locked in competitive action with Real Madrid, in a La Liga meeting with RCD Mallorca.
