Real Madrid star misses training ahead of Celta Vigo | OneFootball

A leading member of the midfield ranks at La Liga giants Real Madrid was forced to sit out training on Tuesday.

The player in question? Eduardo Camavinga.

France international Camavinga for his part featured from the off over the weekend, as Real Madrid were comfortably dispatched of by arch rivals Barcelona in the finale of the Spanish Super Cup.

Upon Carlo Ancelotti’s squad returning to base at Valdebebas for training this morning, however, the 22-year-old was nowhere to be seen.

This, as announced by Real Madrid and since relaid by El Chiringuito TV, comes owing to a bout of illness.

Camavinga is therefore considered to be a doubt to feature in Real’s next outing, against Celta Vigo in the Last-16 of the Copa del Rey on Thursday.

Elsewhere, all of Jude Bellingham, Kylian Mbappé and Federico Valverde were put through individualised training sessions, away from the rest of Los Blancos’ squad.
