Real Madrid star limps out of international duty | OneFootball

La Liga giants Real Madrid have this evening been dealt an altogether concerning blow on the personnel front.

This comes after a key member of the club’s midfield ranks appeared to pick up an injury whilst on international duty.

The player in question? Eduardo Camavinga.

Midfielder Camavinga, for his part, was afforded a starting berth on Tuesday, as France played host to Chile in a friendly clash.

Late in the first-half, however, the youngster was hauled off, in evident discomfort.

This came after Camavinga pulled up with what appeared to be an ankle problem.

Medical tests to ascertain the extent of the damage have no doubt already been pencilled in, ahead of an anxious wait for an update on the wellbeing of their midfield standout for all associated with Real Madrid.

Camavinga’s status to face Athletic Club in La Liga this weekend, though, has certainly been thrown very much up in the air.
