A member of the midfield ranks at La Liga giants Real Madrid is pushing to seal an exit from the club ahead of the fast-approaching transfer deadline.

That’s according to transfer insider Matteo Moretto, who points towards Dani Ceballos as the player in question.

The name of Spanish international Ceballos has of course returned to the forefront of the headlines in Madrid over the last 48 hours.

This comes after word was forthcoming that French heavyweights Olympique Marseille had kicked into gear an all-out assault on the former Arsenal man’s signature.

The two clubs have since encountered problems in negotiations surrounding the deal, chiefly in the form of the fee involved.

But as alluded to above, fully determined to assure that an agreement is ultimately found is Ceballos himself.

As per a report from journalist Matteo Moretto:

‘Dani Ceballos is pushing to join OM. As we reported yesterday, the footballer already has an agreement with the French club. Real Madrid and OM continue negotiating despite the difficulties due to the cost of the operation. The negotiation remains alive. Key hours.’
