Real Madrid star Federico Valverde shuts down Brahim Díaz fallout claims | OneFootball

Real Madrid star Federico Valverde has today moved to clarify the status of his relationship with teammate Brahim Díaz.

This comes after Valverde was caught on camera slating his midfield partner during Real’s latest outing.

Los Blancos were of course back in action on Saturday, making the trip to Son Moix for a La Liga meeting with RCD Mallorca.

En route to an eventual 1-0 victory, however, an exchange between the aforementioned pair turned heads, for less than positive reasons.

After Brahim was guilty of losing the ball deep in the Mallorca half, the 24-year-old, rather than attempt to regain possession, instead turned to complain to the referee.

The evening’s hosts were in turn able to launch a counter-attack, which was ultimately broken up by Valverde.

Forced to cover off half the pitch on his way to as much, though, the Uruguayan turned to scold Brahim, heard repeatedly shouting:

‘Toca el Puta Balón!’, translating as ‘Pass the f**king ball!’

The evident anger in Valverde’s voice, and across his face alike, gave rise to suggestions that a genuine falling out may have been on the cards between he and Brahim.

All associated with Real Madrid will therefore no doubt be thrilled to hear of the former, on Sunday, putting to bed any such claims.

Taking to his official Instagram account, Valverde unveiled a photo of he and Brahim, accompanied by a trio of emojis:
