Confirmation of the squad number set to be donned by Real Madrid star Brahim Díaz when lining out for Morocco has come to the fore on Monday evening.
As much, of course, comes fresh off the 24-year-old’s maiden call-up to the Moroccan national team squad.
After last week confirming his decision to switch international allegiances from the country of his birth – Spain – to the Atlas Lions, Brahim was immediately welcomed into the ranks of Walid Regragui.
This comes ahead of upcoming friendly meetings with Angola, and Mauritania.
Brahim is widely expected to play a central role in both outings, as the Morocco faithful are treated to a first glimpse at their side’s new midfield star.
And, in the process, the former AC Milan talent will take to the pitch with an iconic number emblazoned across his back.
The number in question? 10.
As confirmed by Diario AS, after being afforded his pick of the bunch, Brahim opted for the famed 10, a ‘personal’ favourite, and one he previously boasted during his time in Italy.
