According to a report from MARCA, it has come to light that Real Madrid star Vinicius Jr. was notably absent from Brazil’s team training ahead of their crucial World Cup qualifying match against Argentina.
With the high-stakes encounter set to take place on Tuesday, Brazil held their first of three scheduled training sessions on Saturday. However, the forward did not participate in team drills alongside his teammates.
During the portion of training open to the media, Vinicius Jr. remained on the sidelines, engaging in individual exercises instead of joining the squad for ball work.
While the rest of the Brazilian players focused on tactical drills and passing routines, the Real Madrid attacker was seen running around the pitch alone.
He did not even lace up his football boots for the session, opting instead to jog in tennis shoes while accompanied by a member of the coaching staff.

The decision to keep Vinicius Jr. away from full training has raised questions, especially considering his pivotal role in Brazil’s recent victory over Colombia.
The forward, widely regarded as one of the best players in the world, was instrumental in securing three points for his national team in that match.
However, the coaching staff has not provided an official explanation for his absence from team activities.
Brazil’s head coach, Dorival Jr., has remained tight-lipped about the situation, refusing to disclose whether the decision was precautionary or due to a fitness concern.
Some sources within the coaching setup have hinted that the staff is closely monitoring the player’s workload to ensure he remains in peak condition for the high-intensity clash against Argentina.
Brazil is set to hold two more training sessions before heading to Buenos Aires for the much-anticipated fixture.
The team will resume preparations on Monday before making the journey later in the evening.
