Tuttomercatoweb has recently reported that Real Madrid have set their sights on Everton forward Richarlison this summer. It has been stated that Los Blancos boss Carlo Ancelotti remains a big admirer of the Brazilian talent’s talents as he knows that player well from their time together at Goodison Park last season (via Tuttomercatoweb).

Richarlison’s Impressive Campaign At Goodison Park

Richarlison had a productive season at the Merseyside club and went on to catch the eye with Brazil in Copa America earlier this summer. He is now representing his country in the Olympics and has done well so far which will only enhance his market value in European football.

The 24-year-old banged in 13 goals and grabbed three assists in 40 appearances for the Toffees in the previous campaign across multiple competitions. Richarlison deserves a lot of credit for averaging 1.4 tackles, 1.0 clearances, 2.4 shots, 0.7 key passes and 1.8 dribbles per game in the Premier League. However, he was a bit untidy when distributing the ball in the opposition half, as evidenced by his pass success rate of 70% in the English top tier (stats via whoscored).

If Richarlison’s recent form for both club and country is anything go by, Los Blancos will have to make a sizable offer if they are to stand a chance of recruiting the Everton star before the start of the new campaign.

What Will Richarlison Bring To The Spanish Capital?

Richarlison is a good dribbler with the ball at his feet and can make some well-timed runs in behind the opponent’s backline. He can create some meaningful openings for others around him and is a decent finisher in front of the opposition goal.

The Brazilian talent has proven his worth as a productive attacker in the Premier League and could be tempted with a chance to join Real Madrid this summer as he will have a far better chance at winning some silverware in the coming seasons.

We can expect Richarlison to bring plenty of goals to Ancelotti’s attack and is good enough to serve as an upgrade over the injury-prone, Eden Hazard who looks a shadow of his former self these days. Therefore, Los Blancos should think about launching a move to bring the Toffees star to the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium in this off-season.
