Real Madrid are keeping close tabs on Borussia Dortmund’s rising star, Jamie Bynoe-Gittens, with representatives from the Spanish club attending Barcelona’s UEFA Champions League clash against Dortmund to scout the winger, claims a report from Real Madrid Confidencial.
Bynoe-Gittens, who has been making waves in Germany, is said to be considering a move away from Dortmund at the end of the current season.
With a contract running until 2028, the young Englishman is attracting attention from top European clubs, including Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, and several Premier League sides.
Despite his growing potential, Gittens has not yet been able to secure a permanent spot in Dortmund’s starting lineup, which has led to speculation about his future at the club.
Rumours circulated last winter that Borussia Dortmund had placed an asking price of €100 million on the winger, although the club is reportedly open to lowering that figure given his current status as a substitute.

His performance during Tuesday’s Champions League match against Barcelona was underwhelming, as Dortmund struggled to break through Barcelona’s defence, and Gittens did not make the impact that many had anticipated.
While Real Madrid’s interest in Gittens is clear, any potential move for the young talent is likely contingent on a departure from their already crowded attacking setup.
One possible exit could involve Rodrygo, who has reportedly attracted interest from Chelsea. The Premier League club is said to be willing to offer €120 million for the Brazilian forward, a bid that may test Real Madrid’s resolve.
With a deep roster of attacking options, Real Madrid may need to offload a player before pursuing Gittens, or any other forward, to avoid further overcrowding in their offensive ranks.
Should one of their current stars depart, only then can the club make a more serious move for the young Englishman.
