A much-changed Barcelona were poor in front of goal as they could only draw muster a scoreless draw with Getafe.

Barcelona needed a win to guarantee finishing second in the table but Xavi made a number of changes with Clement Lenglet and Alejandro Balde getting rare starts.

Into the second half and once again, despite bringing on the likes of Ansu Fati, Barça struggled in the final third.

Cádiz v Real Madrid

Scorers: Sobrino 37′; Mariano 5′

Andriy Lunin was Real Madrid’s hero as he put in a stellar performance between the posts in a 1-1 draw with Cádiz.

Carlo Ancelotti made a number of changes to his side with the Liga title already in the bag and the Champions League final next weekend.

But despite that Los Blancos took the lead early on as Mariano Diaz found the back of the net.

Cádiz slowly got back into the game however and found an equaliser just after the half hour mark through Ruben Sobrino.

The home side were playing like men possessed but just couldn’t find that second goal that would take them out of the relegation zone.

They had the chance to get the second in the second half as Alvaro Negredo had a penalty but Andriy Lunin saved the spot kick.

Lunin was at it again just moments later as he saved from Negredo at point-blank range.

Atlético Madrid v Sevilla

Scorers: Gimenez 30′; En-Nesyri 85′

Atlético Madrid waved goodbye to Luis Suárez but could only draw 1-1 with Sevilla.

Sevilla needed a win to guarantee their place in the Champions League next season while Atlético Madrid were still in with a shout of finishing second.

But it was the away side who had the best chance early on in the first half only for Youssef En-Nesyri to snatch at his effort from inside the area.

Atleti made the most of their chances however, as Jose Maria Gimenez headed home from a corner on the half hour mark.

Into the second half and the Andalusians looked like they were going to walk away without the points but EN-Nesyri popped up with five minutes to go to equalise for a crucial draw.
