Tonight, Real Madrid face a decisive match against Rosenborg in their bid to make it through to the group stage of the Women’s Champions League (8pm CET). Alberto Toril’s side are in action at the Alfredo Di Stéfano in the return leg having picked up a 0-3 win away against the Norwegians at the Lerkendal Stadion.
The Whites have won all their games and have yet to concede a goal in the four games they have played so far this season, scoring 12 goals in the process. Esther and Weir are the side’s top goal scorers with four and three goals respectively.
Rosenborg Despite slipping to defeat against Madrid last time out, the Norwegians have had a good season and currently sit in second place in the final phase of the league table. After last week’s first leg tie, neither team has been in action. The madridistas should have travelled to Tenerife at the weekend, but the game was cancelled due to the stormy weather in the Canary Islands.
