Leny Yoro is a player in demand heading into the summer transfer window, with top teams like Real Madrid and PSG, along with Chelsea interested in his services.
The 18-year-old centre-back is enjoying a brilliant breakthrough season at Lille and has done enough to convince Los Blancos to go after his signing in the summer.
PSG have been monitoring Yoro since January and even made a play for his signing in the winter but it did not lead to anything.
More recently, Chelsea, too, have entered the race for the teenage centre-half’s signing with Thiago Silva likely to move on at the end of the season.
Despite the growing interest in the 18-year-old defensive prodigy, Real Madrid remain the favourites to sign Yoro, reports Fabrizio Romano.
As per the Italian transfer guru, the Merengues are pushing hard to sign the teenage defender from Lille in the summer and are currently in the driver’s seat as far as the battle for his acquisition is concerned.

PSG, for their part, will continue to make a push for Yoro’s signing like they did in January.
As for Chelsea, they are monitoring the defender but there have been no concrete moves made as of yet. Meanwhile, Manchester United are also reportedly scouting the 18-year-old.
In spite of all this, Real Madrid remain the frontrunners to secure the teenage defender’s signing.
While Real Madrid maintain a strong interest in Yoro, they are not prepared to shell out crazy money for his signing. After all, he is just 18 and has a contract that expires in 2025.
But Lille are holding out for a fee of around €60 million for their teenage gem, which could pose a hurdle in negotiations.
It remains to be seen whether Real Madrid are able to convince Lille to lower their valuation of the French centre-back.
