Real Madrid have received a significant boost ahead of their crucial match against Atletico Madrid, with Eduardo Camavinga expected to be available for selection.
According to reports from AS, the talented midfielder trained normally with his teammates on Thursday, indicating that he is fit enough to be included in the squad for the derby.
This comes as welcome news for Carlo Ancelotti, who had expressed hope that Camavinga would recover in time for the match.
Camavinga’s return is timely not only for the derby but also with a challenging fixture against Manchester City looming on the horizon. The Frenchman has been sidelined for three weeks after injuring his femoral biceps during a cup tie against Celta de Vigo.
Injuries have disrupted his season, limiting him to just 17 appearances so far. However, his return to fitness could bolster Real Madrid’s midfield options at a critical point in the season.

The defensive situation, however, remains a concern for Ancelotti. Real Madrid will face Atletico with a depleted backline. Dani Carvajal and Eder Militao are long-term absentees, while Antonio Rudiger and David Alaba have also been ruled out.
Given the defensive crisis, Ancelotti is likely to make tactical adjustments. During a recent match, he hinted that Aurelien Tchouameni, who played in midfield during the Cup game, could be deployed in defence.
The most probable scenario is a central defensive pairing featuring Tchouameni alongside Raul Asencio.
Meanwhile, Camavinga’s availability could provide a much-needed balance to the team, as his versatility allows him to contribute both defensively and offensively.
With Real Madrid aiming to maintain momentum in both domestic and European competitions, his return might be pivotal in the coming fixtures.
Ancelotti will undoubtedly be hoping that Camavinga’s presence can help the team navigate this challenging period successfully.
