Real Madrid are set to host their bitter rivals Barcelona at the Bernabéu on Saturday evening as the first El Clásico of the season gets underway.

Carlo Ancelotti has published his squad for the showpiece clash, as two important members of his squad are sert to miss out on the tie.

The biggest omission is goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois, due to a reoccurrence of the adductor injury that he originally suffered in the Madrid derby against Atlético Madrid a few weeks ago.

The other big absentee is Brazilian forward Rodrygo, who suffered a hamstring injury in the midweek Champions League tie against Borussia Dortmund.

Rodrygo is replaced in the squad by Brahim Díaz, while Courtois will be replaced between the sticks by last season’s heroic stopper Andriy Lunin.

Real Madrid have scored 10 goals in their last five fixtures while Barcelona have netted 19 goals in the same period of time, which will hopefully lead to a high-scoring affair when the two sides meet tomorrow night.
