Updates on the wellbeing of two headline members of the first-team setup at La Liga giants Real Madrid have been forthcoming online.

As much, of course, comes fresh off Los Blancos booking their spot in the semi-finals of the Champions League.

After making the trip to The Etihad for a daunting last-8 return leg meeting with Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City, Real, in the end, battled their way through.

The two sides could not be separated across a full 120 minutes on the night, giving rise to a tense penalty shootout.

And owing to a pair of Andriy Lunin saves, Carlo Ancelotti’s troops emerged on the right side of a 4-3 triumph from 12 yards.

And yet, on an otherwise stellar evening’s work for Real Madrid, concerns were also forthcoming, on the personnel front.

As much came with both Vinícius Jr. and Dani Carvajal having been forced into premature departures from the action in Manchester.

Ahead of an impending Clásico showdown with arch rivals Barcelona this weekend, all of a Blancos persuasion will in turn no doubt be eager to hear of an update on the wellbeing of both coming to the fore.

As per Guillermo Rai of The Athletic, the Real faithful need not fret.

This comes with sources inside the dressing room at the La Liga leaders having confirmed that Vinícius and Carvajal were both in the thick of the celebrations post-match:

‘The club’s response when I asked about the physical condition of Carvajal and Vinicius: “They were dancing in the locker room with the music super loud!”

‘Very calm, despite the tremendous fatigue.’
