Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is ready to step up their clearout plans.

Marca says David Alaba won't be sold as he only just arrived, but then only Thibaut Courtois, Karim Benzema, Fede Valverde and Vinicius Jr are off limits, with Carlo Ancelotti having asked for the latter to be part of his squad.

Not even Ferland Mendy is untouchable. Then there's the case of Martin Odegaard, who was allowed to go out on loan to Arsenal in January and who could be sold this summer if an offer comes in that convinces the Spanish club's directors. The Norwegian's Real Madrid future remains uncertain.

Those in charge at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu know that rebuilding the squad won't be simple and that it'll require the exits of some very good players, as has happened with Sergio Ramos and Raphael Varane.

From now to August 31, offers could be made to Real Madrid for various members of the squad. Until this point, the offers for Odegaard have only been loan pitches. There is a month to go, though, until the end of the transfer market.

If there are more exits then Real Madrid believe they have talent in the academy that can step up. Miguel Gutierrez, Antonio Blanco and Mario Gila have stood out and could have a big say in the near future.
