Real Madrid are set to take on Villarreal on Saturday evening as they look to get back on track after a demoralising defeat against Lille in midweek European action.

The biggest news is Kylian Mbappe’s inclusion in the squad despite his exclusion from the France squad for the upcoming international break.

We expect Carlo Ancelotti to embrace this upcoming break for the French superstar and give him the start against Villarreal after he made a cameo off the bench during the week.

Aurélien Tchouameni is expected to move back from midfield into defence to allow a rest for Éder Militão, who has racked up the minutes so far this season.

In attack, Rodrygo could also return after being benched midweek against Lille, he could form part of an attacking trio alongside Mbappe and Vinicius Jr.
