Real Madrid's perfect start to the season came to an end on Sunday as they were held to a 1-1 draw with Osasuna, so manager Carlo Ancelotti will demand a reaction when Shakhtar Donetsk come to town on Wednesday.

Los Blancos are two-for-two in the Champions League so far and will look to create some space ahead of second-placed Shakhtar, although they may have to do so without the help of some influential figures.

GK: Andriy Lunin - Thibaut Courtois is likely to miss out with the back injury that kept him out against Osasuna, which could hand Ukraine international Lunin the first Champions League outing of his career.RB: Dani Carvajal - Can't help but fear for him up against Mykhaylo Mudryk.CB: David Alaba - Two goals and three assists from the first ten games of the season isn't a bad return from your centre-back.CB: Eder Militao - Rested against Osasuna, it's likely that Militao will replace Antonio Rudiger in the starting lineup here.LB: Ferland Mendy - Mendy doesn't complete many 90 minutes these days but at least he gets to start them.DM: Aurelien Tchouameni - One of the stars of Real's season so far, Tchouameni has proven himself as one of the best midfielders on the planet.CM: Toni Kroos - The metronomic Kroos will be tasked with setting the tempo of the game in the absence of Luka Modric, who is still working his way back from injury.CM: Federico Valverde - With Modric not yet fully fit and Eduardo Camavinga in the same boat, Valverde may be pulled back from his new right wing spot and deployed in his natural central role.RW: Rodrygo - Valverde's return to the midfield will see Rodrygo deployed on the right. The young Brazilian has started this season in the form of his life.ST: Karim Benzema - He didn't look fully fit against Osasuna and even missed a penalty, but Benzema is clearly physically capable of starting games and Ancelotti is never going to drop him if he doesn't have to. In the battle of exciting young wingers, will Vinicius get the edge over Mudryk?
