Saudi Arabian clubs continue to sniff around top players from Europe with several stars from Real Madrid emerging as subjects of interest for the Middle Eastern nation.
Indeed, Vinicius Jr. continues to be a dream target for Saudi Arabia while links to Antonio Rudiger and Luka Modric have also been doing the rounds in the recent past.
Now, MARCA reports that clubs from Saudi Arabia have set their sights on Real Madrid mainstay Thibaut Courtois for the 2025/26 season.
The Middle East country had wanted the 32-year-old Belgian goalkeeper in the past as well but nothing came of it.
However, they are now prepared to test the waters again with the lure of a hefty contract and a sporting project that promises a key role in the development of the game in the region.

Courtois, for his part, is understood to be aware of the interest, although there is no concrete offer sent towards the Real Madrid shot-stopper.
Amidst the growing interest from Saudi Arabia, the report states that Real Madrid want to renew the contract of Courtois.
The 32-year-old is considered one of the best goalkeepers in the game and the Merengues are very happy with his contributions while retaining complete confidence in him.
Courtois’ contract expires in the summer of 2026 and there have been no negotiations as of yet but Real Madrid are sure that they want to offer him a new deal and keep him at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Real Madrid president Florentino Perez wants to continue counting on the Belgian and everything indicates that the goalkeeper also wants to stay.
As such, moves could be made in the near future as Los Blancos look to secure the future of one of their most important players.
