According to Fichajes, Real Madrid are now prepared to part ways with Dani Ceballos, with the aim of trimming the wage bill and creating space in the squad.
The outlet mentions that the club no longer sees the Spanish midfielder as part of its long-term plans and is actively working toward finding a solution that benefits all parties involved.
Real Betis, Ceballos’ former club, remain the most eager to bring him back. The 28-year-old feels at home there and believes a return could help him rediscover the consistency and confidence that have been missing during his spell at Madrid.
At Betis, he is also expected to enjoy a more prominent role, something he has not had regularly in recent seasons at the Santiago Bernabéu.
Real Madrid are reportedly willing to let Ceballos go for around €10 million. The club is open to either a permanent sale or a loan deal with an obligation to buy.

This valuation could make the deal more appealing for Betis, who have been monitoring the midfielder’s situation for several months.
For Betis, it would be a key addition to their midfield, while for Madrid, it would represent much-needed financial flexibility.
Ceballos has endured a mixed spell at Real Madrid, often finding himself on the fringes due to strong competition in midfield.
With Betis ready to offer him more playing time and a central role, the move could be the fresh start he’s been looking for.
With the summer transfer window heating up, Ceballos’ potential move to Real Betis could become one of the standout domestic transfers in La Liga.
Talks are expected to progress in the coming weeks, and if all goes well, a return to Seville might soon be confirmed.
