👋 Real Madrid officially bid farewell to Gareth Bale and Isco

Real Madrid have officially said goodbye to Gareth Bale and Isco, with both players leaving the club on free transfers this summer when their contracts expire at the end of June.
“Real Madrid would like to express its gratitude and affection to Gareth Bale, a player who is now part of the legend of this club forever,” read a club statement released on Wednesday.
“Since September 2, 2013 when he arrived at Real Madrid at the age of 24, he has been part during these nine years of one of the brightest period in our history.
“During this time in which he has defended the shirt and shield of Real Madrid, he has won 19 titles: 5 European Cups, 4 Club World Cups, 3 European Super Cups, 3 Leagues, 1 Copa del Rey and 3 Spanish Super Cups. . On an individual basis, he was named Best Player of the 2018 Champions League Final and won the Ballon d’Or at the Club World Cup that same year.
“Beyond his track record, Gareth Bale has left marvellous and decisive goals in the memory of everyone associated with Real Madrid, such as his unforgettable header in the Champions League final in Lisbon, his incredible gallop in the Copa del Rey final in Valencia or his historic bicycle kick in the final of the Champions League in Kyiv.
“Real Madrid is and will always be his home, and we wish him and his whole family the best of luck.”
Los Blancos also said farewell to Isco on Wednesday.
“Real Madrid would like to express its gratitude and affection to Francisco Alarcón ‘Isco’, who in these nine years in which he has defended our badge and our shirt has managed to become the legend of our club.
“He arrived at Real Madrid when he was only 21 years old and during this time he has lived through an era that will remain in the memory of all Madrid fans and all football fans. Isco has won 19 titles in a brilliant career with our team: 5 European Cups, 4 Club World Cups, 3 European Super Cups, 3 Leagues, 1 Copa del Rey and 3 Spanish Super Cups. In addition, he was named Best Player of the 2017 European Super Cup Final.
“His football has left its mark on all the Madridistas who have shared with him this long road full of successes with great unforgettable moments.
“Real Madrid is and will always be his home, and he wishes him and his whole family the best of luck.”
