Real Madrid will be aiming to keep up the pressure on league leaders Girona when they lock horns with UD Las Palmas away at Gran Canaria tomorrow.
Heading into the match, manager Carlo Ancelotti has a near full-strength squad at his disposal, with Thibaut Courtois, Eder Militao, and David Alaba being the only absentees due to injury while Jude Bellingham is out through suspension.
The England international picked up his fifth yellow card of the season in the last La Liga clash against UD Almeria and has earned an automatic one-match ban as a result.
Speaking of suspension, Bellingham’s fellow midfielder Eduardo Camavinga is staring at the risk of getting banned for Real Madrid’s La Liga clash against Getafe next week.
The French international, who has recently returned from an injury layoff, is on four yellow cards in the league at this point.
And another booking in tomorrow’s match against Las Palmas would mean an automatic suspension for a game due to accumulation of cards.
With Real Madrid staring at a crucial run of fixtures that could make or break their title challenge, having all players available for selection becomes crucial.
As such, Camavinga will have to be careful not to earn himself a booking and a subsequent suspension when he steps onto the pitch tomorrow against Las Palmas.
