He said, "We had a great second half and should have took the three points. We picked up a point and fought until the end, we've got three games left and we'll keep fighting for the LaLiga. A referee's decision conditions the match, I don't know if it's fair or not, from my point of view it's accidental, but in the end it's up to each referee's discretion.

"From my point of view, it looks like a Sevilla player touched it just before, he brushed it and then it hit Militão's hand, but it was accidental, he wasn't even looking at the ball. There's a lot at stake here, the league, and it's a decision that could have affected our chances of picking up the three points and taking the lead. We're angry because we didn't get the win due to a decision that I don't know if it's fair.

"We could have been awarded a penalty and it would have changed the course of the game for sure. I don't know if we would have scored it or not, but it conditions the match. We can't change anything now and we have to keep fighting.

"They came out better in the first half and had more of the ball and in the second half we pressed more, won the ball back more higher up the pitch and had more chances. It's a shame because we had chances, but it wasn't to be."

Asensio added: "We have to win the last three games, I'm positive and confident that they will slip up because it's been a very hard-fought league. We have to win our three games and hopefully we can win LaLiga."
