Real Madrid have reportedly identified Luka Jović as their ‘number one target’ for the upcoming summer transfer window.

Jović has been a standout performer for Eintracht Frankfurt this season, scoring 25 goals in 40 appearances across all competitions.

According to MARCA, Madrid scouts watched the 21-year-old against Benfica on April 11, before giving ‘one final thumbs up’ on the move.

Los Blancos are said to view Jović as the perfect option to make an instant impact but also replace Karim Benzema long term.

Frankfurt have already confirmed their intention to trigger his €8m option-to-buy clause, before selling him on for handsome profit.

It’s unclear as to how much the Bundesliga side would demand, but BILD claim any bids under €50m will not be entertained.
