Real Madrid have reportedly turned all their attentions to Eden Hazard and will make a move to sign the Chelsea attacker in the summer.
Los Blancos had been interested in bringing Tottenham’s Christian Eriksen to the club but were knocked back by Daniel Levy earlier this week.
AS now say that the reigning European champions will focus all their efforts on signing the Belgium international, tempting him with the promise of ‘building a new team’ around the 28-year-old.
Hazard is seemingly no nearer to signing a new deal at Stamford Bridge with his current contract set to expire in 2020.
It means that the Blues aren’t in the bargaining position they once were, and may have to accept offers in the region of €100m come June or risk losing Hazard for free the following year.
The former Lille man has constantly flirted with the idea of joining Madrid, admitting to French television earlier this season: “Real Madrid are the best club in the world. I don’t want to lie, it is my dream since I was a kid.”
