Real Madrid will reportedly look to sign Bayern Munich midfielder Thiago Alcântara, if Mateo Kovačić leaves this summer.
The Croatia international is believed to have told the hierarchy at Los Blancos that he wants to be sold after three years at Santiago Bernabéu.

A story in Cadena Cope on Thursday claimed that those high up at the European champions were “shocked” by the news.
But a report in Marca has insisted that the team are already looking at potential replacements for the 24-year-old.
They believe that a move for Thiago could be forthcoming, despite the midfielder coming through the Barcelona academy as a boy.
Madrid are encouraged by rumours coming out of the German press that Bayern would be willing to sell the Spain international, but only if they received an offer in excess of €70m.
Whether the player himself would be willing to move to Los Merengues remains unclear.
