The winter transfer window is right around the corner and there is a lot of noise surrounding Real Madrid and their plans for January.
After all, the Merengues’ squad has been hit hard by injuries, especially in the defensive department, leaving them short of options at right-back and centre-back.
While there have been some speculations that the club could look into the market for reinforcements, the general prevailing sense has been that there will be no movements.
Reaffirming that stance, journalist Jorge C Picon reports that Real Madrid have knocked back several agents offering players to them ahead of the January transfer window.
Indeed, as per the update, numerous agents have arrived at the Merengues’ offices this month proposing their players for the upcoming transfer window.
However, each of them have been met with the same response by Real Madrid: “We’re not looking for anything for the winter.”

The ACL injuries to Dani Carvajal has left Carlo Ancelotti with just Lucas Vazquez as the recognised right-back in the squad, who had not been performing at his best in recent matches.
However, the veteran Spaniard’s display against Sevilla right before the mid-season break has convinced the Real Madrid hierarchy that he can be counted on.
Plus, Ancelotti can turn to Federico Valverde and Raul Asencio as makeshift options.
As for the centre-back position, David Alaba’s imminent return is being seen as a ‘winter signing’ in itself.
On top of that, Aurelien Tchouameni’s improved displays in the makeshift role and Asencio’s emergence have convinced the club that they can see through the season.
As such, there will be no movement from Real Madrid in the winter window and any signings will be delayed until the summer.
