Updates on the wellbeing of two key members of Carlo Ancelotti’s Real Madrid squad have been forthcoming.

And the news will no doubt be met with widespread excitement on the part of the club’s fanbase.

This comes amid confirmation that Vinícius Jr. and Eduardo Camavinga are closing on respective returns to the pitch.

Both wide-man Vinícius and midfielder Camavinga have been sidelined long-term, owing to respective hamstring and knee issues.

The expectation was that the pair would be back available for selection, at the earliest, in mid-January.

If the latest word stemming from the media is anything to go by, however, then both could in fact be at the disposal of boss Ancelotti sooner than expected.

As per a report from Relevo, Vinícius and Camavinga ‘have already recovered’ from injury.

The former, in turn, is in line to mark his comeback during the closing moments of Real’s upcoming La Liga meeting with Mallorca on January 3.

Camavinga will have to wait a little longer, but could feature against Atlético Madrid in the Spanish Super Cup a week later.
