Real Madrid are reportedly ‘increasingly confident’ that they will sign Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba this summer.
Pogba has already revealed his desire for a ‘new challenge’ after the Old Trafford club failed to secure Champions League football last season.
And according to ESPN FC, despite financial concerns, Madrid officials believe a deal can still be struck for the Frenchman.
Manager Zinedine Zidane urged president Florentino Pérez last week to make another effort after initially claiming Pogba would be too expensive.
The LaLiga giants could receive a boost in their budget with James Rodríguez likely to leave, and Gareth Bale being touted to clubs in Europe and China.
One stumbling block, however, could be Mino Raiola who is known for complicating negotiations which Pérez does not appreciate.
