Real Madrid are in discussions with Villarreal over the sale of midfielder Óscar Rodríguez.
Rodríguez spent the 2018/19 season on loan at Leganés and put in a number of impressive performances which almost kept the club in LaLiga.
However, despite his nine goals and two assists Leganés were relegated to the Segunda on Sunday following a 2-2 draw with Real.
It looks as if the 22-year-old won’t be returning to the Bernabéu with Marca reporting the two clubs are in discussions over a transfer.
Real are believed to be looking for a fee in the region of €20m for the midfielder.
Sevilla, Getafe and Milan are also reported to be interested in a move for a player Real are looking to make money off to fund their own transfer moves this summer.
