In a recent tweet, journalist Rudy Galetti mentioned that Real Madrid have identified Liverpool midfielder Alexis Mac Allister as a target for next year. It is believed that Los Blancos are eyeing a move to bring the Argentina international to the Spanish capital in 2025.
Mac Allister has enjoyed a decent campaign at the Merseyside club after he put in a series of impressive displays at the heart of Jurgen Klopp’s midfield. The 25-year-old has scored seven goals and picked up seven assists in 46 appearances for Liverpool this season on all fronts.
The Argentine midfield ace has been a good performer at both ends of the pitch as he is averaging 3.0 tackles, 1.1 interceptions, 0.8 clearances, 1.3 shots, 1.4 key passes and 0.5 dribbles per 90 minutes in the Premier League. He has even been accurate when distributing possession from midfield based on his pass completion rate of 87.8% in league football (stats via whoscored).
His current contract Anfield will run out in the summer of 2028. Hence, Los Blancos would have to make a convincing offer if they are serious about recruiting Mac Allister next year.

Mac Allister is a solid tackler of the ball and can make some timely interceptions for his side at the centre of the park. He usually clears the danger when needed and can even strike the ball with power and precision from long range.
The Argentine talent has also got the eye to play some decisive passes in and around the opponent’s penalty and is a good dribbler with the ball as well. He is primarily a box-to-box midfielder but can also function as a defensive midfielder or play in the number ten position if needed.
We can expect Mac Allister to bring more quality to Real Madrid‘s first team. He is good enough to nail down a regular starting spot at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium in the coming years. Therefore, the Argentina international would be an excellent option for the Madrid giants to pursue at the end of next season if they can fund a move to bring him to Spain in 2025.
