Real Madrid’s interest in Bayern Munich left-back Alphonso Davies and Lille defender Leny Yoro is no secret these days, and if they can pull of those signings, it would be a rather successful summer for Los Blancos, following the additions of Kylian Mbappe and Endrick Felipe. However they may have to be patient with both cases.
Over recent months, it has been reported by a number of outlets that Real Madrid have agreed personal terms with both Davies and Yoro. The pair also appear to be prioritising a move to Madrid, meaning it will come down to negotiations between Real Madrid and their clubs.
Both Bayern and Lille appear to be demanding €50m for the Canadian and Frenchman, yet Los Blancos conscious that both are out of contract next summer, are looking more at a deal in the €35m range. Cadena Cope report that despite some outlets reporting that Real Madrid have done the hard work to secure their signatures, talks for both are not as advanced as others say. They do report that Riccardo Calafiori is not part of their plans.
It is easy to assume that Real Madrid will get both deals done, being as they have a habit of getting signings over the line once they set their mind to it in recent years. Equally, they are parting from a position of strength in negotiations. Yet they must still work out a deal with Bayern and Lille, who have reputations as tough negotiators.
