Real Madrid will give Barcelona a free run at Neymar as the Brazilian looks to leave Paris Saint-Germain.
Madrid have held an interest in Neymar for a long time having failed to beat Barcelona to his signing in 2013.
The Merengues were linked with the forward last summer but a move failed to materialise. This year, though, PSG really could sell the most expensive player of all time.
PSG sporting director Leonardo has admitted as much, conceding that the 27-year-old will be allowed to leave for the right price.
Neymar, who cost the Ligue 1 champions €222m in 2017, has been heavily linked with a return to Barcelona.
Madrid, though, will not be in the running.
According to AS, the club have now moved on from the 27-year-old, instead adding Eden Hazard and Luka Jović to their frontline this summer.
That will leave Barcelona with no challengers for Neymar’s signature, should they manage to strike a deal with PSG.
