La Liga giants Real Madrid have identified two more up-and-coming South American youngsters as potential future signings.
That’s according to Marca, who have on Sunday provided an insight into the latest developments behind the scenes in Spain’s capital.
The understanding is that the brass at the Santiago Bernabéu recently took a step back from their efforts to bring in River Plate sensation Franco Mastantuono.
This, however, does not mean that Real’s endeavours in the South American market have come to an end.
In fact, far from it…
As per Marca, Los Blancos are closely monitoring the progress of two budding talents, in Germán Barbas, and Vitor Reis.
The former is a 16-year-old midfielder, who is currently plying his trade in his home country of Uruguay, with Peñarol.
Reis, meanwhile, is an 18-year-old defender, who has long been making a name for himself on the books of Brazilian heavyweights Palmeiras.
Though offers for either on the part of Real Madrid are not considered imminent, both names are worth keeping an eye on for the club’s supporters moving forward.
