That result left Real Madrid tenth in the Primera División Femenina, seven points adrift of the top three and a Champions League place.

Former Real Madrid Castilla boss Alberto Toril has been named the new head coach.

Toril began his playing career with the club and achieved promotion with Real Madrid Castilla in 2012. He has signed a contract until 2023.
