Should Real Madrid Boss Carlo Ancelotti Snap Ospina Up This Summer?

Ospina is a decent handler of the ball and has got good reflexes that allow him to make a few solid saves at the back. He can distribute the ball well from inside his penalty area and has developed a winning mindset at Naples during this campaign. The Colombian goalie doesn’t shy away from coming out of his six-yard box to collect loose balls and crosses. At 33, he has got a wealth of experience under his belt and is the captain of the Colombian national side.

Hence, Ospina will a good addition to Real Madrid‘s dressing room, especially if Andriy Lunin ends up leaving the Spanish capital in this off-season.

The South American talent might not get regular game time but would get a chance to win a few trophies as long as he can serve as a decent deputy to Thibaut Courtois at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium. Therefore, Los Blancos head coach Carlo Ancelotti would be wise to snap Ospina up when the transfer window commences later this year. He will not only enhance the quality of the Italian manager’s squad but help the Madrid giants taste even more success in the coming seasons.
