Haaland is having a brilliant campaign at the Etihad Stadium as he has proven himself to be a goal-scoring machine for them in the Premier League. The Norwegian centre-back has found the back of the net on 42 occasions and picked up five assists in 37 appearances for the Mancunian club this season across various competitions.

The 22-year-old deserves a pat on the back for averaging 3.5 shots and 0.8 key passes per game in Premier League football. He has also been decent with his link-up play in the final third, as evidenced by his pass success rate of 75.6% in the English top tier (stats via whoscored).

His current contract at the Mancunian club is set to run out in the summer of 2027. Thus, Los Blancos will have to orchestrate a mammoth offer to stand a chance of signing him next year.

Is Haaland A Dream Choice For Real Madrid Boss Carlo Ancelotti?

Haaland is one of the most lethal strikers in world football at the moment. He has banged in goals for fun in the Premier League and has also improved his link-up play under the expert stewardship of Pep Guardiola over the past six months.

Standing at 1.95m, the Norwegian sensation is a towering presence in the air and has got the pace and power to cause all sorts of problems inside the opponent’s penalty box.
