Bournemouth made the trip to Anfield on Friday night, to face off with reigning Premier League champions Liverpool.

When all was said and done, it was Arne Slot’s hosts who emerged with all three points, courtesy of a 4-2 triumph.

The aforementioned Antoine Semenyo proved himself the visitors’ star performer, notching both Bournemouth goals amid a fine individual display.

As alluded to above, however, a stellar night for the 25-year-old on the pitch was spoiled by ongoings off it.

This came as Semenyo was the victim of disgusting racial abuse on the part of a member of the Liverpool crowd.

Messages of support, in turn, have since come pouring in for the forward from across the world of football.

And as alluded to above, adding his name to this list early on Saturday was a member of the defensive ranks at Real Madrid.

After calling Semenyo a teammate as recently as last season, Dean Huijsen took to his official Instagram account, to throw his backing behind the former Bristol City talent:
