Real Madrid defender Nacho is full of pride over his status of being a one club man.

Nacho has been key for Real Madrid this season in an injury-hit campaign.

He said, “I can't imagine being anywhere but this club. My whole family and I feel that Real Madrid has given us everything since we were youngsters. My dream has always been to make it into the first team. Now I'm still here and my dreams keep coming true every day I'm here and every game I play.

“I'm a massive football fan and I keep all the things that I might value in the future. I've got my boots from my debut and the ball signed by all the manager and all the players, and these are things I had to keep. When they are young, every player dreams of playing for the first team one day. When that day comes you're really nervous and loads of things are going through your head.

"I remember that I got cramp in my legs when there were 15 minutes remaining. (Jose) Mourinho asked me if I wanted to go off and I didn't want to. I made it until the end and everything worked out well. We won and I had a great game."

He added: “Real Madrid has given me everything. It's also like a family to me and I can't imagine being anywhere but at Real Madrid. It has taught me everything – manners, values, knowing how to win and lose. It's not just a football club, it's like a family. I'm really grateful for the chance to be here and to be able to be part of this great team. I hope I can stay for many more years to come."
