The first half of Real Madrid's La Liga clash with Osasuna was as chaotic as it comes, with Eder Militao stretchered off with a serious-looking knee injury and Rodrygo also in tears after being forced off.
Carlo Ancelotti was under pressure heading into the game after a torrid couple of weeks saw the club thrashed by rivals Barcelona in El Clasico and by Milan in the Champions League - both games played at the Santiago Bernabeu.
The Italian opted to change things up against Osasuna, drafting Rodrygo back into his starting lineup to form a front three alongside Kylian Mbappe and Vinicius Junior.
Rodrygo started the game brightly but was forced from the field just 20 minutes in - the Brazilian crying as he took to the substitutes bench to have his left thigh strapped with ice.
But if that wasn't bad enough for Madrid and Ancelotti, things got a whole lot worse ten minutes later when centre-back Militao, who has previously torn the ACL in his left knee, screamed out in agony after twisting his right leg in Osasuna's penalty area.
Teammates rushed down to Militao's side as medical personnel sprinted onto the pitch, with Ancelotti and his coaching staff concerned observers from the sidelines.
Militao was stretchered off after receiving treatment on the field, before Madrid took the lead in the game through Vinicius Junior. Jude Bellingham doubled the advantage, scoring his first goal of the season, but incredibly Madrid's injury woes didn't end there.
Captain Lucas Vazquez pulled up sharply clutching him hamstring - the Spaniard taped up so he could complete the first 45 minutes but in obvious discomfort as he attempted to continue.
