Real Madrid could land 2 Bayern Munich stars for free next summer | OneFootball

The powers that be at La Liga giants Real Madrid could be in line to benefit from the precarious contract situations of not one, but two Bayern Munich stars next summer.

The first has long been rumoured in the media, with Los Blancos ready to snap up left-back Alphonso Davies, in the case of the Canadian international not penning fresh terms by 2025.

And one of Davies’ long-time teammates in Bavaria, too, could yet make his way to the Santiago Bernabéu on a free transfer.

The player in question? Joshua Kimmich.

Like Davies, midfielder Kimmich is due to see his contract at the Allianz Arena come to a close in less than 12 months’ time.

And the Bayern board, it is claimed, are increasingly ‘worried’ by the prospect of the German linking up with Real Madrid.

Los Blancos have been named as keen admirers of Kimmich on numerous occasions in the past, with the 29-year-old having even been tipped as a potential replacement for the departed Toni Kroos earlier this summer.

In turn, as per Relevo’s Javier Rodríguez Pascual:

‘The player Bayern are most worried about is Kimmich. His contract also ends in 2025. And they fear that he could be a target for Madrid.’
