Real Madrid are toying with the idea of playing out the rest of the 2019/20 season away from their Santiago Bernabéu home.
There is still no indication as when the remainder of the current season could be finished.
On Monday, it was confirmed that teams will be permitted to return to training as normal if they comply with Spanish government safety protocols.
Reports in Spain have suggested that the campaign is ‘on track’ to potentially resume in June but theNational Sports Council have refused to comment on those claims.
If and when the season does return, it will certainly do so without fans at present, leading Real Madrid to consider finishing their fixtures away from their home ground.
That is per a report in MARCA and Okidiario which believes they could push to fulfil their games at the Estadio Alfredo Di Stéfano, which is used by the club’s Castilla side.
Their reason for doing so is in order to allow planned constructions works at the Bernabéu to go ahead without any interference.
Following a 10-day break, work is set to resume again on Real’s home ground.
However, any move by Los Blancos to see out the season at the 8,000 capacity Estadio Alfredo Di Stéfano would require LaLiga approval.
