Real Madrid have confirmed the exit of 19-year-old attacking talent Nico Paz, who has joined Cesc Fabregas’ Spanish-speaking revolution at Como in Serie A. Paz has penned a four-year deal with the Italian side, who were promoted last season.

Following former Barcelona captain Sergi Roberto through the door, and joining ex-Real Madrid centre-back Raphael Varane, Paz will look for minutes in Lombardy where he was unlikely to get them at the Santiago Bernabeu. He had been linked to Leganes on loan earlier in the summer, but Paz has joined Como for €6m in exchange for 50% of his rights.

With Brahim Diaz, Arda Guler and Dani Ceballos ahead of him in the pecking order for Carlo Ancelotti, and none of that trio likely to be regular starters for Los Blancos, Paz’s path to the first team certainly looked difficult. Paz follows Rafa Marin, Juanmi Latasa, Joselu Mato, Nacho Fernandez and Toni Kroos out the door this summer.
