Eintracht Frankfurt only completed the permanent signing of Luka Jović this week but may already be about to sell him to Real Madrid.
The Serbian striker joined for just €6m from Benfica.
However, he is wanted by some of the world’s biggest clubs and Frankfurt probably won’t be able to keep him for long.
With 25 goals to his name this season, the 21-year-old has been catching the eye of Real Madrid in particular.
According to Spanish newspaper AS, the Spanish giants are now close to a deal that would take him to the Bernabéu.
They cite German reports, which suggest he’d be able to leave Frankfurt for around €60m, with Benfica entitled to 20% of the fee.
Real Madrid are looking to spend big this summer, following last year’s sale of Cristiano Ronaldo and the team’s subsequent underperformance in LaLiga and the Champions League.
If a deal is completed, Jović could just be the first of many new faces to arrive in the coming months.
