In a recent report, Todo Fichajes claimed that Real Madrid centre-forward Luka Jovic is on Juventus’ radar. It is understood that the Turin giants are eyeing a loan move for the Serbian striker but are open to including an option to sign him permanently from Los Blancos in the future.
Jovic had an unconvincing loan spell at Eintracht Frankfurt recently as he struggled to find consistency for them in German football. The 23-year-old participated in 18 league matches for the German outfit last season, scoring four times and grabbing one assist in the process across multiple competitions.
The Bijeljina-born talent struggled to be productive with his attacking contributions after he averaged 1.4 shots, 0.3 key passes and 0.8 dribbles per game in the Bundesliga. However, he was accurate with his ball distribution as he completed 78.6% of his attempted passes in the German top tier (stats via whoscored).
Jovic’s current contract at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium runs out in the summer of 2025, so Ancelotti has no need to cash in on him any time soon. However, the lack of game time has disrupted the player’s development recently, so it makes sense for him to switch clubs in search of more first-team opportunities in the future.

Jovic has developed a habit of finding a yard of space to get a few shot attempts on target. He can be a calm finisher in front of the opponent’s goal when he is playing with confidence on the pitch. The Serbian marksman can even pull off a few decent runs in behind the opposition backline.
However, things have not fallen in place for him at the Spanish capital which is why Ancelotti should consider letting him go out on another loan spell either in January or at the end of this campaign. Jovic is still under a long-term contract which means that a successful loan spell could see Los Blancos bag a sizable fee for him in the future.
At 23, the Real Madrid forward’s best years are ahead of him, so Ancelotti would be wise to let him go temporarily to Turin with a view of making the move permanent upon the expiration of his loan spell.
