Incoming Real Madrid starlet Endrick has this week been afforded a blow on the injury front.

This comes amid confirmation that the frontman is in line for a spell on the treatment table.

Endrick, for his part, is fresh off sealing Paulista glory with Palmeiras in his home country of Brazil.

The 17-year-old enjoyed a Man of the Match display en route to a 2-0 downing of Santos on Sunday, enough to seal a turnaround triumph for his side in the two-legged affair.

In doing so, however, Endrick also condemned himself to a spell away from the pitch.

As revealed by ESPN Brasil, the starlet, primed to take his talents to Spain with Real Madrid in the summer, took to the pitch against Santos hampered by a fitness problem suffered whilst on international duty last month.

And, almost inevitably, Endrick in the process made the issue worse.

The Brazilian is expected to spend the next three weeks on the sidelines.

He will, as a result, miss Palmeiras’ next five fixtures, three in the Brasileirão, and two in the CONMEBOL Libertadores.
