As much comes after the board at the Santiago Bernabéu struck a big-money deal for his signature back in 2022, with the attacker having since continued his development on loan in his home country with Palmeiras.

Over the weekend, fans of Real were afforded a fresh glimpse at the talents of their side’s latest up-and-coming talent, upon Endrick taking to the pitch for Brazil in a friendly meeting with England.

Not only that, but the 17-year-old proving himself match-winner courtesy of the only goal at Wembley has since seen excitement surrounding his arrival in Spain’s capital mount ever further.

And no doubt set to go down a treat with all associated with Los Blancos, too, will be confirmation on Endrick’s part that he has long looked up to, arguably, the greatest player in the storied history of the capital heavyweights.

As part of a letter to his younger brother, Noah, unveiled on The Players’ Tribune, the breakthrough striker revealed that one day meeting Cristiano Ronaldo is a lifelong ‘goal’:

“One day, I hope to meet Cristiano Ronaldo. I still haven’t yet. But his son follows me on IG, so I hope that by the time you are reading this I have been able to shake his hand. God willing, all will go well at Real Madrid and with my career, and Cristiano will follow me! Maybe you and me both! Hahaha.  To meet Cristiano Ronaldo. That is a goal for me.”

Endrick continued:

“You can learn anything on YouTube. It’s like a university. More than anyone, I watched Cristiano. Not just his highlights, but also how hard he worked, and what others said about his mentality. From him, I learned that hard work is more important than talent.”
