Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti spotted spending his summer break in an unexpected setting | OneFootball

If you’re a football manager, it’s entirely expected that you will take the precious summer months without football and use them to unwind and relax ahead of another intense campaign.

Maybe a few weeks soaking up the sun in Marbella? Or a few weeks back home in Italy? Carlo Ancelotti seemingly has other ideas.

As seen on Ancelotti’s own Instagram story, Real Madrid’s boss is spending his summer stateside. Maybe New York? Los Angeles? Not for Carlo, he was instead spending an evening at a rural saloon in Montana.

As spotted by X user @juza_23, Ancelotti enjoyed a summer evening in the small town of Darby in Montana, which has a population of only around 800 people.

Carlo shared a snap of himself at a bar looking rather incognito in a pair of sunglasses, although, I can’t imagine many would have recognized him in such a rural setting.

Real Madrid’s pre-season tour of the US isn’t set to kick off until the 31st of July when they face AC Milan in Chicago, so why shouldn’t Don Carlo spend some time away from it all in the meantime?

Who knows? Maybe Los Blancos will have a stop in Darby, Montana next summer?
