As reported by BeIN Sports, Real Madrid currently lead the Club World Cup’s earnings chart, having pocketed a staggering $86 million for reaching the semifinals.

That amount puts them ahead of PSG by $7.5 million, with the French giants sitting in second place.

The windfall has been further boosted by Real Madrid’s consistent performances under new manager Xabi Alonso.

Since the tournament began in the United States, Madrid have notched four wins and a draw in five games.

The financial ladder is topped by Madrid and PSG, followed by Fluminense ($61 million), Chelsea ($59 million), and Bayern Munich ($57 million).

Other notable clubs in the top ten include Borussia Dortmund, Manchester City, Inter Milan, Palmeiras, and Saudi outfit Al Hilal, with collective earnings exceeding $560 million so far.

Should Real Madrid overcome PSG in the semifinals, they would earn an additional $30 million, taking their tally to $117 million.

The eventual winner will also bank an extra $40 million bonus, making this tournament one of the most lucrative in world football.
